HISTORY

Started as a single-line operation back in 1988. Inventor of the world’s first lightweight nitrile glove in 2005. In 2008, Hartalega listed on Main Board of Bursa Malaysia and it is one of the KL Composite Index counters.

High School Drop out and began his career in building and construction in 1969

Worked at his father’s company building high-end homes around Kuala Lumpur

Set off on his own in 1978 and started Timol Weaving, a manufacturing business that made woven labels and badges.

Founded in 1981, Hartalega Holding is the world’s largest and fastest maker of nitrile gloves, which it exports to 40 countries.
